Urology doctor, Dr.Muthu Veeramani has the unique feat of establishing successful Urology and Renal
Transplant programs in TamilNadu and other parts of India. Dr Muthu Veeramani has been an invited
Faculty at most Endourology and laparoscopic workshops in India. A pioneer of endo urology he has
played a key role in the minimally invasive stone clearance techniques like Percutaneous
Nephrolithotomy and Flexible Ureteroscopy. Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomies and Laparoscopic
Urooncology is another area of his expertise. Vascular access, Reconstructive Urology like
Urethroplasties and Bladder reconstruction are the highlights in his work. . He received SIU award at
Glasgow in 2014 for the urethroplasty work.
A teacher and academician at heart, Dr Muthu Veeramani has been part of Urology training M.Ch. and
DNB programs at Chennai and Gujarat.
